**BBQ Joins Delivery Platform ‘Baedal Minjok’s’ ‘One-Bowl’ Category, Ushering in the Era of Single-Serving Chicken**

BBQ is officially joining ‘Baedal Minjok’s’ (Baemin) ‘One-Bowl’ category, a specialized section for single-serving orders.

This service, launching in Seoul on June 27th, is expected to significantly improve convenience for single-person households and customers ordering small quantities.

Baemin’s parent company, Wooyang Brothers, announced that BBQ’s popular menu items, including Golden Olive Chicken, will be available in single portions through the ‘One-Bowl’ category.

Customers can order set menus designed for one person, such as ‘Mini Combo Sets’ and ‘Half Golden Olive Sets,’ at up to 20% off the regular price.

Baemin has increased price competitiveness by directly subsidizing delivery fees and menu discounts to enhance customer benefits.

**’One-Bowl’ Service: A Customized Delivery Solution for the Rise of Single-Person Households**

The ‘One-Bowl’ service, piloted at the end of April, is a specialized service catering to customers needing small portions of delivered food. It’s designed to accommodate the growing trend of single-person households by eliminating minimum order amounts and streamlining the menu browsing and ordering process.

Since this month, the service area has expanded to include major regions across the country, including the Seoul metropolitan area, leading to a rapid increase in usage. Specifically, the number of ‘One-Bowl’ orders in the third week of June increased more than 10 times compared to the first week of May, and the number of users increased more than 11 times during the same period, demonstrating strong consumer response.

BBQ’s ‘One-Bowl’ sales will continue in Seoul until the end of July, with plans to discuss potential expansion of the service area and extension of the period based on its performance.

**Agreement Reached to Stabilize Service Through Collaboration Between Platform and Merchants**

On June 19th, Baemin reached an agreement with merchant groups, including the National Federation of Delivery Franchise Owners and the Association of Franchise Owners for a Fair Platform, mediated by the Democratic Party’s Living Protection Implementation Committee. This agreement aims to foster collaboration between the platform and its merchants.

The measures include waiving commission fees for orders under 10,000 won and providing delivery fee support, as well as tiered commission fee support for orders between 10,000 won and 15,000 won, to alleviate the burden on merchants handling small orders.

Meanwhile, Baemin and BBQ are strengthening their collaboration with the ‘Let’s BBQ with Chicken for Barcelona’ promotion, which is running for a month.

Through this promotion, customers have the opportunity to attend the FC Barcelona Asia Tour Seoul match, which will be held at Seoul World Cup Stadium on July 31st.

“Although chicken is a quintessential Korean delivery food, single-serving orders haven’t been widely available due to the nature of the ingredients,” said a Baemin representative. “With BBQ’s entry into the ‘One-Bowl’ category, we are officially ushering in the era of single-serving chicken. We will continue to enhance the convenience for customers who want to order small quantities.”
