[MyDaily = Reporter Bang Geum-Sook] SSG.com announced on the 3rd that it has launched ‘Haru’, a small packaged fresh food product targeted at one to two-person households.

Haru is a planned product that packages fresh food such as fruits and vegetables individually. It can be received through the Suksu delivery and dawn delivery service that starts from the Neocenter in the metropolitan area.

Haru Fruit carefully selects five types of fruits including apples (7.58 ounces), pears (26.45 ounces), Hallabong (8.81 ounces), Cheonhyehyang (8.81 ounces), and Chamoe (8.81 ounces), and sells them in the range of 2,000 to 8,000 won ($1.68 to $6.72).

Haru Vegetables presents six essential cooking ingredients including peeled garlic (2.82 ounces), onions (8.46 ounces), green onions (7.05 ounces), Enoki mushrooms (5.99 ounces), green peppers (2.11 ounces), and cucumber-flavored peppers (2.82 ounces) at a uniform price of 1,000 won ($0.84).

Son Ji-Young, the head of the agricultural team at SSG.com, said, “We prepared Haru products in line with the market trend of consuming in small quantities as the number of one to two-person households increases,” and added, “We plan to expand our product range to include grains and nuts in addition to fruits and vegetables.”
